C. Bryan Brown Wrote:Hello - new to the board, fan of The Man (as I see he's called here, which is as it should be, of course). I was perusing the site and came across Mr. Wilson's explanation of what makes a bestseller, aka velocity.
I've recently purchased a Kindle and I see that Ground Zero will be available. My question is whether or not the Kindle sales are taken into account the same as any other pre-order or actual book sale from like a B&N, Borders, Amazon.com, etc. Anyone know?
I'm just curious since the Kindle technology is still fairly new and just starting to take off. I apologize if the question has been asked (and subsequently answered) elsewhere on the boards; I haven't had time to read everything yet.
Thanks!

Welcome, C. You'll like it here.
Great question. Don't know the answer. Just a word of advice.
Better read it quick when you do get it, before Amazon deletes it remotely from your unit (see
1984 thread).
