What day should we purchase Ground Zero for maximum push towards bestsellerdom?

Street date is Tuesday 9/15, so anytime that week is perfect.

What about all of our pre-ordered, numbered or lettered editions? Do these count as well in those sales stats?

Only the trade edition is counted. If it's preordered, that order goes in as a sale when they ship the book (or at least it should) and that should be on or after the 15th. It will go in as a 1st-week sale, and that's a good thing. That's why we like preorders.

Even though I've read cobalt's copy of Ground Zero, my copy is pre-ordered at Borders. So, add one from me.
