This series is what started my very expensive hobby of collecting books (limiteds, firsts, and almost all others). My first was Infernal. Up till then I saw the limiteds as too expensive. I bought infernal, in a hurry to read the next installment, on impulse. Once I read it, it seemed strange to own only 1 $60 book. It was only a small part of a larger series. I started shopping Ebay, Abe, Yahoo, and elsewhere looking to complete the set. My mania spilled over into the AC, then really got out of control.

I've finally narrowed my collection back to my favorite authors and some of those back to particular series. (I only get Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, Robert Parker's Jessie Stone, Nelson DeMille's John Corey, and Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt books.)

I try to get pretty much anything FPW, except some of the newer paperbacks that have been reprinted over and over (unless I like the cover, like Black Wind).

I'd love to get some of the limited edition Stephen King stuff, but it jumps in price so fast.

Great news, thanks!!

This will be my first Gauntlet edition so I am excited to get it. I got "Rakoshi" and "The Keep" from Borderlands press, and I loved those editions.
When you have to go in and sign 1,000 books do you try and do it the same each time or do you vary it every so many?

They send me the signature sheets which I usually sign while watching a ballgame (foot- or base-). Usually do a few hundred at a clip. Then they go to the bindery where they're bound into the books.

Then you'll be waiting until Christmas, C.

For me, not waiting is worth the extra dough.

I'm glad I preordered He is Legend. They are selling sky high on Ebay now.

I saw the cover of the September edition. The now-standard Jack cover, the bottom-third the Towers in what looks like sunrise, the top-third, the 2 searchlight beams in the night. In between, the title and Paul's name, and Jack.

I found it powerful and moving. Paul, if you do that kind of thing, please give the artist my admiration for fine work.
