Speaking of Koontz, I've started Odd Thomas (finally). I actually like it, so far. I'm about 200 pages in. I haven't read a Koontz book that I didn't like. I also wouldn't consider any Koontz book as one of my favorites. I don't understand why he is so wildly popular. Good enough to read? Yes. Great? Not for my taste.

If you havent read them, you might enjoy his Moonlight Bay books. The two that have been released so far are Fear Nothing and Seize the Night. IMHO, these are his best books.

I have Fear Nothing, but haven't read it yet. I will someday.

I tend to agree here, but I have just about lost hope that Koontz will return to his Moonlight Bay characters.

Nice to hear that other people have the same problem that I do. I have a stack on the floor that is getting a little out of hand right now
