Turanthor Wrote:thanks for the advice FPW. I am curious though, I do not own The Touch. Do I need to wait and get it before reading Reborn? or can it be read out of order and the AC understood without it?
thank you
Hold off on
The Touch until after
Ground Zero, it doesn't take place until then (as FPW states in Secret History of the World, which he suggests, above, that you follow).
Plus, you have to read the short story "Dat Tay Vao" before the
Touch. Then
Jack Secret Histories includes the character who brings the Dat Tay Vao to the USA and who has it at the beginning of
The Touch. Plus, unless I'm mistaken, Jack hears about the death of someone from "back home" (WK) in
By the Sword. That death actually occurs in the beginning of
The Touch.
Personally, I read
The Touch just after
By The Sword and
Jack Secret Histories, before FPW listed
Ground Zero in front of it on the Secret History o.t. World...drat!
As far as
The Touch being read out of order, I have it on good authority that
The Touch has a great deal to do with one of the characters in
Reprisal, so you should DEFINITELY read it before you tackle that one.
