Uh..huh. So you're saying that you can't appreciate the overall horror portrayed....because the lead character is female?

Mkay. I guess it would be more accurate to say that the show is not aimed at YOU, since I know several men who LOVE True Blood and who are every bit as addicted to the show as I am. *shrug*

How many vikings does it take to change a light bulb?

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

May the Norse be with you.

I am of the male persuasion and so is my brother in law and every sunday me and him watch True Blood. One of my fave shows.

I'm male and married and my favorite character is Lafayette. Go figger.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Yup! The show is insanely popular and from my own observations, and from what I've read, LOTS and LOTS of male fans out there.

That's because Lafayette is about 15 shades of awesome. Big Grin

Another great episode, I thought. Best lines of the night:

Lafayette: This has got to be the worst motherfucking intervention in history.

Sam: Smite me, motherfucker!

Jason: Guys! C'mere! If we're gonna get outta here, we're gonna need a bigger divergence!

Terry: We will un-fuck this situation at a later date!

The whole thing with Sam, Jason and Andy was pure comedy gold.

Sweet dream at the beginning with Sookie and Eric... but it needs to not be a dream. :p

Can't wait to see the queen.

Oh, and Maxine on the Wii was awesome. :p

Lafayette: That Jason Stackhouse is sex on a stick!

Me and my bro in law use that line a lot and my wife thinks I'm crazy. And what do you mean that dream needs not be a dream. That is BS what about Bill? I know something happens later because certain things have been told to me but Bill is awesome and walked through sunlight for Sookie! That'd be like walking through a hallway filled with fire and you say Eric and Sookie! Tisk tisk I disagree. Bill needs to rip Eric's throat out...... even though it'll never happen.

And can something good happen for Sam? I was rooting for him in season 1 to get with Sookie until I saw Bill walk through sunlight. Then, Daphne comes along. Yippie Kye Yay Motherfucker! Then she gets her heart ripped out.... her fault of course. But Sam has got to get rid of Mary Anne and then seriously Sam deserves 72 virgins. He's my fave character and everything sucks for him.

But yeah I am hoping Sam kills Mary Anne.

Oh and the queen..... Evan Rachel Wood..... looking forward to that. She was great in The Wrestler and it was hard to shine through Mickey Rourke's performance in that.

Sorry, but I am and will always be in Camp Eric and Sookie. :p

Pft, Bill. While I do like TVBill much more than BookBill, he's still Bill and there's really nothing that will make me want Sookie to choose him over Eric.

Yeah, the walking through sunlight thing is a problem. And you have every right to disagree.

I'd like to see him try. 800 years is one hell of an advantage in a fight.

Yeah. I love Sam so, so much and nothing good ever happens to him. I think he exists to make me say "Poor Sam" over and over again.

I don't care who kills her, as long as she ends up dead...lol.

Yeah, I can't wait to see Sophie-Anne. Big Grin

I hated Bill as I believe I said. I wanted Sam to get Sookie but that was not in the cards. Besides, I am not much of a Sookie fan as of late. I find myself intrigued with ones who can't do crap for themselves only because of the situation they are in, i. e. Sam and Bill. What I mean I guess is Sam is a competent badass but events take place beyond his control that continue to just make me all pfft mmm grrr EEYA! I guess is what I'm saying if that makes sense.

I also find myself intrigued by Jason. I guess entertained is a better word. I loved the whole Andy, Jason, Sam bit at the bar and I'd love to see those three interact more. Andy and Jason are hilariously dumb but still competent of themselves and Sam showed his natural leadership with those two. I got an idea. A triumvirate of supernatural asskickers or A To Sak. Nah toss the name out the window but I'd like the three of them to like team up and hunt down more like Mary Ann or Vampires that don't follow the rules or a supernatural entity that is extremely evil.

Dream a little dream right Corys?

Another great episode of Trueblood tonight.

I just LOVE the queen! A redhead too! Playing Yahtzee.....what a hoot. And Bill...all impatient to leave.

I didn't say poor Sam this episode, but did appreciate how he took care of the kids. Even though he brought them into a vampire club. Eric was hysterical with the kids. Pam still wants revenge for her pumps...snicker.

Tara...poor Tara. Going after her love...and back into the insanity ...again. And she dragged Lafayette into it...ya know it's all Tara's fault.

Jason ...oh man. What an idiot. So many lines...it's hard to choose just one. He and Andy as the saviours? lol....Jason will just bump into another tree.....snicker.
