That's me.

Hey, I'm not a machine. You should be suspicious of signatures that match perfectly -- could be a machine doing it.

What book is that?

None that I can post. I didn't get a digital camera until after she had died, and it's not important enough to go out and buy a scanner for that purpose alone.

Ken Valentine Wrote:Thanks Cobalt. My wife told me the same thing -- although she herself had the most beautiful penmanship, she could read writing that I found impossible to decipher.

We used to have contests for the worse penmanship. Posted on the bulletin board, we would take turns deciphering what was ordered and by who. Now that's all in the past. The docs have to enter their orders into the computer.....less errors that way.

Not to mention better for the patient, and so much easier for the nurses and pharmacists.

No, that's hei wah -- Peace. I always write that on BLACK WIND.

As I wrote it in Hideo Kojima's copy of the Japanese edition, he said something to his interpreter who translated: "Ah, 'Peace.' But you wrote that backwards."

And of course, I had. He would have written the box on the right first, then the middle character, then the leftmost character.

Hey, not only can I write kanji, dude, I can write it backward.

Cobalt, correct me here, but I seem to recall reading in my long-forgotten youth that the sawbones of old =cultivated= lousy penmanship the better their guild secrets to conceal.
