yeah it's nice to have the comfort of two more books another young adult or two and maybe, in the distant horizan, a movie. maybe.

I've always wished for this series to become either a movie franchise or series on cable channel ( do better job than big 3 + 1). A movie based on the Tomb would work with these people in character:
Jack - Tim Oliphant
Gia - Rebecca Romijin
Vicky - ?
Abe - Brian Dennahey (sp)
Kusum (sp) - Naven Andrews
Kolobati (sp) - Aishwarya Rai
Rasalom - Titus Welliver

Bleh. It's a boring, predictable, unexciting cast.

Thing is . . . Rasalom isn't in THE TOMB.

And for Vicky; how about Sammy Davis, Junior?

While I currently feel that Jensen Ackles would be an awesome Jack. Another poor soul has come to my attention. Mostly because I've been watching reruns of Moonlight on two different channels. Alex O'Loughlin.

Haven't been on here in forever. I do heartily agree Jensen Ackles could pull it off, but I have another name to throw into the hat (that gets tossed in the ring, that gets swallowed up in the black hole of Hollywood, whilst slowly sucking the soul from my favorite fictional character). But hey I'm not bitter or anything Smile

Anyhoo, this gentleman starred in and co-wrote a little gem of an independent film called "The Prodigy". His name is Holt Boggs, and he, IMHO, could really pull it off. You should definitely check out the film, there is a magnificently brutal fight scene between Holt and the bad naughty assassin fella that will jar the teeth in your skull. Not sure if Holt has any martial arts training, but he can throw one hell of a punch, and shows off his pugilistic skills throughout the film. Some of the most realistic fight scenes, and great sound effects to go with them. Plenty of gunplay too, I think all you RJ fans would enjoy the film if you haven't seen it already. Can't remember how to attach pics or I would, see IMDB or holtboggs.com or just rent the film Big Grin

...just my two cents.

I remember seeing him in Bloodrayne and it looks like he's going to be very popular in 2011, but I have one very severe problem with him: He looks like Jeff Dunham. I cannot watch Jack if I'm thinking about Peanut.

Holt: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2384108800/nm0091773

Dunham: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm4164126976/nm0242278

There is a slight similarity, but wontcha just watch The Prodigy, Seph? Pretty please? It's a decent flick, and I guarantee you won't be looking at him in the same way after his performance. Wink

I was flipping through the channels and saw Dawson looking badass. Yes, it was on Lifetime. Shut up.
