I too just saw T:Salvation the other night and am now 110% convinced that (if he can develop a more consistent 'merican accent) he is "The One" who would nail Jack.
On the T:S front, SWort MADE that movie. What the hell are they going to do in a sequel to make it worth(ington) watching?

Sam Worthington as Repairman Jack? YES, YES, YES!
I don't know if it's because I've recently seen Avatar for the first time when it premiered on HBO about a month and a half ago and have become a little bit obsessed, but I seem to have just gotten really hung up on the idea of Sam Worthington being physically suited to play RJ:-age(35), height, hair colour, eye colour, muscular build (minus the atrophied legs of course) and the "average-ness" he displays ie; he's easy enough on the eyes w/ out being TOO eay on the eyes. I loved his performance in Terminator Salvation and thus far his American accent seems ok. I do agree that it needs a bit more work esp if the screenwriters opt to include some of the one-liners that Jack delivers in the books (The humour aspect is the ONLY characteristic that I saw Ryan Reynolds nailing as Jack; he delivered them well in Wolverine and Blade: Trinity, both of which were of the horror/ scifi/ action genre)
I really hope that the powers that be get with the programme (and stick with it) so that he will be cast in it before he turns 45 and/ or befoe the culmination of the end of the world pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase
