Can you really play? 'Cause John is picky. "OK, man...let's be professionals. Your D string is a quarter-tone flat..."Wink

Which one, Paul? I only know the Beach Boys, Kinks, and Steely Dan songs by that title, but there gotta be a lot more.

I'm thinking it's a pretty safe bet to say Steely Dan:
"You go back, Jack, do it again, wheels turinin' 'round and 'round
You go back, Jack, do it again..."
Besides, somewhere in the murky parts of my memory I seem to have a faint recollection of either Jack, FPW (or both?) admitting to a fondness for Steely Dan.

And here's my nomination for the soundtrack: Tom Sawyer by Rush.
"A modern-day warrior
Mean mean stride,
Today's Tom Sawyer
Mean mean pride...

No, his mind is not for rent
To any god or government.
Always hopeful, yet discontent,
He knows changes aren't permanent,
But change is...

The world is, the world is,
Love and life are deep,
Maybe as his eyes are wide."
That's pretty much a perfect choice, IMHO. Wink

It is.
And we know for sure, Webby, Jack is a fan of Gene Clark of the Byrds (mentioned in HOSTS). So it might be a fun musical "thread" to have Gene's wonderful songs throughout the movie.

Which would still leave plenty of space for the great Borg/Lindner soundtrack.CoolBig Grin

Now, Anders, are you listing some favorite songs, or tunes that would enhance the Jack =movie=?

Can't disrupt your taste, though!

"Welcome To The Jungle" by "G&R" for the scene when jack is walking the back streets as a bag lady looking for the necklace.

"Little Red Riding Hood" by "?" for the scene when Aunt Grace is abducted.

"Mother" by "Dan Zig" for the scene when Jack meets the Mother.

"I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by "Hank Williams" for the scene when Jack is drinking a whiskey with his dad and is contemplating telling him the truth. ( I see this being played in the background on his dad's radio set on an oldies station.)

If they do the flashback, "Over The Edge" by "LA guns" for the scene on the overpass.

"Bullet With A Name On It' by "Non point" for the scene when they take the ride down to the beach to get Kusum.

"Armageddon It" by "Def Leopard" for the scene when the boat goes up in flames.

Alright, I'm joking about the last one. Maybe "Click, Click, Boom" by "Saliva".

All I know for sure is that they have to work in "ACDC's" Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". That's a must.Smile
