For when Jack is laying waste with his flamethrower, how about "Fuel" by Metallica? Or something a little more contrasting..."Light my Fire" by the Doors, (cliche I know)? How about "Disco Inferno?"

For some reason, when I read the part where Jack is squaring off on the rooftop, Jimmy Buffet's "Halloween in Tijuana" goes through my mind. I must have been listening to it when I first read it. Nice eerie song.

Bad Religion's "Diseased," (of course that would work better for a movie adaptation of Hosts I suppose).
