I think its Ben in the coffin.

Jack wouldnt consider him a friend.
And Kate would say 'why would I go to his funeral?'

And they never said the person in the coffin was one of the 6.

Well shit...now that I've been reading through these posts I want to start watching this show again. I recognize some of the names, but not all that are being mentioned.

I just called my 1SG who is over on the camp with the bootleg shop and asked her to look to see if they have the first 3 seasons and to get them for me if they are there. If she comes back with 3 seasons of LOST I think I will never leave my room for the next few weeks.

I've already seen season 1 but it was well over a year ago (last time I was in Iraq) so I think I should just start over from the beginning. I've heard a little talk about season 2, but it was mostly about finding the tail of the plane.

Am I right to assume that season 4 is only on TV and not on DVD yet?

That's right. The premier episode was last Thursday. There will be 8 total episodes then it will cease because of the writers strike.

Just got off the phone with my 1SG...the guy at Ali does have all 3 seasons, but he wants $20 each!! That's $60 at one time!

I told her to hold off since I am going there later this week...maybe I can talk to guy down to $50...we'll see.

I heard on the news yesterday that because the writers strike is [rumored] to be coming to a close all actors of current shows (not introduced this year) have been put on notice they are expected back to work the first week of March to begin production on the remaining episodes of the season. It sounds like most networks will then air the final 6-8 episodes in May and June. So we may get a few more LOST episodes this season than we thought.

Actually that's a bargain. I paid $50 a pop from Amazon. If it's a bootleg you probably wouldn't get the cool packaging.

Unrelated to Lost but how are they going to pull off the Oscars telecast if the writers are still out?

They canceled the Golden Globes only two days before they were set to air. Assuming it's not resolved by then (though it sounds like it will be) the Oscars may do they same thing.

I think it could be either Ben or Locke, or, again knowing this show, someone we haven't even met yet, though that feels like cheating.

They haven't said anything about the Oceanic 6, except that the nickname exists, as per Hurley screaming it when he was arrested.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

That would suck. The writers are beginning to get on my nerves. 16 uninterrupted episodes would have been great.
