The Asp would kick ass. Oh! Yow! Back to uh, reality here.

But jeez, Paul, isn't, say, Scarlett O'Hara a more "real" woman to you than most of the women you know? Isn't Prof in TMIAHM a more "real" guy to you than your mailman? Aren't the characters you've created more "real" to you than anyone but your wife, daughters, and closest friends? I'd wager you know more about them!

While you were writing THE TOMB, wasn't Vicky on the ship "real"?

How about the dream that gave you the inspiration for THE TOMB? Trapped on a rooftop...

And I'm not trying to be a smartass here (who? Little Blues? ) Just wondering what a fictioneer thinks about these ah-deers.

Didn't we have a similar argument before? Like who was tougher? Thor or the Vision, or some other superheroes? Didn't it end almost the same way? "Get real, idiots!" someone said, "They're not real!"

It could just be "Deja vu..."

Nope. All Wolverine's got are claws, healing, and a bad attitude. If I were Peter Parker (and who's to say I won't be in the next life?), I'd stay out of range and web the hard warrior's face.

Even Logan's got to breathe and see. Could his adamantium claws cut the webbing? Sure! But while he's occupied with that, Spider Man could clock him. And remember, Parker is =very= strong.

Spider Man by a KO in the first.

Besides, Spiderman is Marvel's #1 hero. Heck, Marvel's Wolverine beating Spidey would more ludicrous than Batman beating Superman! I mean, what's Batman going to do against Superman? Build kryptonite spikes into his boots or something? Ha ha! Big Grin

Batman did beat Superman in Frank Miller's "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns"

If I remember correctly, he was wearing an exo-suit powered by kryptonite. As corny as it sounds, the graphic novel was one of the best ever written.

That's right, Batman had him down and beaten.

In DK2 he does it again. In Superman's own words, ''He took me apart like a highschool geometry project'', though that is far from the best graphic novel ever written.

In actual fact it's pants.

As to who would win Wolverine Vs Spiderman . . .

. . . I suppose it'd depend entirely which of their names was on the cover. Wink

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."
