bones weep tedium Wrote:Upon hearing that RJ is being made into a film, our response should be a disinterested shrug. We already know the story and love the character, what could we possible gain from a movie version other than disappointment?
"We" would probably not gain a thing. However, if the film is good -- and I hope it is -- it would introduce a great many people to the Repairman Jack novels, and possibly to the rest of FPW's books.
(And you get to say, "I knew about RJ long before the movie.")
