Next year in September Francine and I are going to take a trip to sunny ol' England for 10-days. Whether this is a GU event or not I can't say (that's something for the Queens to label I suppose) but I wanted to send an open invitation to anyone state-side that might be interested. This gives you a full year to plan and save for the trip which looks to cost around $3000-$4000 for two people.

And if no one wants to come that's fine too but I wanted the invitation to be there, especially if it may end up being a GU6.

This sounds good. I believe London was on the short list for the next GU, so count Sweetie and myself in, barring the unforseen.

Have you already established the dates?

Just Sept. right now. Sites like Expedia only have listings through July.

Thanks for the offer. I'm sort of coordinating with Dave but I'm sure the two of you can do some organization and figure out a good place for everyone to meet up for dinner and drinks. How's that sound?

Hey, Marc, I'm in! What hotels are you looking at? In central London, close to lots of things? Or out in the boonies?

I recommend pleasant.

Sounds good, not sure how much you want to tour but myself & Paul R are both based in the north if you plan to travel round we can let you know the places worth visiting up north

Popping down to London is fine for me, me & the GF keep saying we need a week-end in London

We haven't decided on any hotel yet Maggers as it sort of depends on where Dave will be. We might do a bed and breakfast. All depends on cost. For Francine and me I'm sort of planning around Dave. Once we have some more info. I'll let you know.

Britfan... I definitely want to do some traveling and not stay in London exclusively. Do you have any recommendations?
