It really goes into both history/social structure and Japanese culture at the time. I can understand why Paul is very proud of this book. I have to read it again!

I love this story - probably my fave non RJ /AC book

Just received my inscribed copy, so many thanks to FPW for taking the time to sign and thanks to Shocklines for arranging

The book looks wonderful & this has solved my cunundrum about what to read next!
