Very true. FPW left the reader wondering. I, myself, always gave Jack life when I finished the book. But I was never sure until I logged onto the INTERNET the first time and found FPW already had Jack in "Hosts". (What a great day that was , I'll tell ya!)

Wasn't Jack in the original Nightworld? I thought I had read that he made a brief appearance. I haven't read it yet, so I don't know.

Yes, Jack is in the original Nightworld but it's more than just a brief appearance. He's one of the central characters.
In the revised Nightworld, there is more of Jack and some other RJ series characters, but Jack was always an important part of the story.

I think that was the publisher's ah-deer, Auskar. If memory serves, Paul's title was RAKOSHI.
