After your group meeting on this, please let us know what topics you discussed and the interesting points that came out of it!

Cool - thanks for the link! I read the comments from your group yesterday and was highly amused that they've already started the GIA MUST GO / GIA MUST STAY debate! Big Grin

You should/could make them aware of this message board since a few of them seem to be interested in reading more.

One of them said this
Quote:Did everybody but me like the way the story ended? I know this is an ongoing story kind of thing, but to just leave him sitting there in a chair?
In my opinion, THIS is why The Tomb is an exemplary book. It is also why I am glad I read the Tomb before the others came out.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Thanks, acfrogg! It was fun to read their thoughts as they progressed through the book for the first time. Very neat.

As far as someone asking about Rakoshi being a real India myth, check out the Wikipedia section on "Rakshasa":

Other thoughts:
* Did Anthony change his opinion of Jack by the end of the book?
* I'm pretty sure that when the book was first written, FPW didn't have the idea of writing any RJ sequels. Knowing that, do you think RJ was supposed to have died in the end of this booK?
