Oh man... thanks! I really don't want to go over my laundry list of problems I have with "Jericho" again. Instead, I'm going to point you over to the Shocklines Message Board where this was discussed in detail: http://p082.ezboard.com/fshocklinesforum...8697.topic

AuntiePam summed up all of the same nitpicks I have with the show.

I missed the 2nd episode. Damn 2nd job!!

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

I really liked the second episode. the scene with the cop was really cool.

The only thing that seemd a little cheeseball was

SPOILER BELOW>>>> LOOOOOKOUT!!!!!!!!!!

When the Arab guy (Sorry bad with names Sad) listened to the answering machine and then found that little hard drive. Seemed fake.

But decides that It's probrably my favorite show at the moment.

I actually liked that. The drive was found in the lizard tank, which leads to the idea that the old guy planted it there and let the lizard out so that they would eventually find it.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Mohinder. And he's Indian, not Arabic.

Marc B. Wrote:Anyhow, it has me interested enough to watch tonights episode. New shows I watched but will no longer be tuning into: Jericho, 6-Degrees and Brothers & Sisters.

I've been having bad luck with some of the new shows. Ep. 1 of Heroes didn't TiVo the first time and the rebroadcast on USA started late because of wrestling, so I missed the last 5-10 minutes. I think I've pieced it together... I think. Also, Ep. 2 of Jericho TiVo'd but the reception was so poor it was like watching animated abstract art.

Anyone watching "Studio 60"? I have to say that I am really enjoying that show.

This was a vast improvement over last weeks episode. Much darker and much more entertaining. I like where the story is going, but don't see how they can make it last much more than one or two seasons. I particularly like Hiro and his friend, but I can't stand the woman that Mohinder is running around with. Bad actress, useless role, etc.

I disagree, she's a great actress in a useless role. Her name is Nora Zehetner. Watch her in the movie "Brick" to see what I mean.

I liked the episode, but the opening narrative set me off a bit. "Five strangers" that will be brought together:
1. Cheerleader
2. Brother that can fly
3. Other brother that can fly
4. Artist that can paint the future
5. Cop that can read minds
6. Woman with split personality
7. Man who can freeze time and teleport into the futre

Am I missing anyone? By my count, that's more than five....

I do like the show, all nit-picking aside.
