I work at a Waldenbooks. When the Tomb reissue came out I ordered six copies to the store and I'm pleased to say we've sold most of them, thanks in part (I like to think) to my displaying them near the register. We just got a bunch of Infernals in, too. And I ordered us copies of the rest of the series. I'm awfully proud of myself.

You guys rock. Booksellers have a lot of influence on what people buy. When I worked at B&N the book
Snow Falling on Cedars by David Guterson came out of nowhere to become a bestseller - mostly because booksellers all over the country were talking about it and recommending it to customers.
As for the original question - I only go to Wal-Mart when there is no other choice, but I was there last month and I noticed that they had a lot more RJ in stock than whenever I'd been there before. My nearest Borders also had more copies on the shelf than ever before when I was there a couple of weeks ago.
