Yes, first airing was tonight. This is wild.....it will be replayed all this week.

Too many people in this room. The guys are playing poker. I'm hanging over this one guy, typing with my left hand. So excuse the typos.....

I've watched "Masters of Horror" for a few weeks, based on the fact that you guys seemed to recommend it. I'm not sure why, though. The quality seems rather horrid.

I've never been happy with the series as a whole. I, too, don't think it's very good and am usually bored by it.

With that said I haven't watched PELTS yet. It's on the Tivo and I will get to it in the next day or two.

HaroldDemure Wrote:is 'Dreams In The Witch House' a Lovecraft story? the name sounds really familiar. the soundtrack album to these is quite excellent as well. Features a live version of 'Megalodon' by the mightiest metal band on earth.........MASTODON!!!

Do yourself a favor...do NOT watch it. It's really bad. If you like the story at all, if you have any respect for Lovecraft. The fact that Mr. Gordon kept the name the same is the only bit of justice in the end, I think - it does involve dreams, a witch, and a house...and a few other main plot ideas are kept, but they take out some of the coolest (and creepiest) aspects of the story. Think of it this way: what if they made The Keep into a movie, except instead of "R" being a being that thrives on pain and sufering and is the very essence of evil, he's some kind of alien robot. Oh wait... But the point is, once a Lovecraft story gets "the Gordon" treatment, it just loses everything that makes it special. And it just plain wasn't good, either.

"...and your last thought is that you have become a noise...a thin, nameless noise among all these others...howling in the empty dark room"

Crap, I missed 'Pelts'. Do they repeat the previous episode before or after the first airing of the new one?

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

If you have On Demand through your cable company, I'd try there.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
~ Howard Phillips Lovecraft
