Just read in FPW's newsletter that he has decided on "Harbingers" as the title for the 10th RJ novel. I think he might have said that here, too. But it's now officially official and Lisa was credited with the brainstorm! Lisa's gonna get mentioned in the acknowledgement section of the book, too.

Way cool, Lisa, you brilliant Ms. Thing! [Image: woohoo.gif]

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

LOL, thanks Maggers. I just found out the other day when Susan forwarded me the newsletter. For some reason I didn't get it this time.

So should I place my order now, or wait until it's been assigned an ISBN?

You really only need three things: WD-40, Duct Tape, and a pointy stick. If it's supposed to move and doesn't, use the WD-40. If it moves and isn't supposed to, use the Duct Tape. If you want it to move and it doesn't want to, use the pointy stick. The rest of life is easy.

Harbingers, why not just call the thing obfuscation? Is this some sort of sign that future titles will leave us befuddled?

Shouldn't that be obfuscations, keeping with the tradition of plural nouns? Smile

(Hmmm. This kind of reminds me of one of my favorite aphorisms: obscurity is not profundity, but passes for it 99% of the time.)

Here's another, recent use of the word in a (LINK ->) CNN medical story on children as harbingers of the flu season. Very appropriate, I think.
