Can't say I like that title very much. It's kind of clunky. I'll be surprised if the publisher lets it ride, but hey what do I know, right? Stranger things have happened...The Red Sox even won the World Series last year! I thought Hell was freezing over. Glad to see they choked on their own bats this year and things are back to normal.

Snake Wrote:I disagree. I don't think it sounds ominous at all. Legacies, Conspiracies, The Haunted Air, Hosts, Gateways, Infernal... Those all ring true. Harbingers by itself has no dark connotations. Most of us just already know dark times are a comin'...because Jack's tale ends with Nightworld. You may as well call it Goldilocks (or Gialocks if you like) and the Three Bearers.
Harbingers, as a title, fails to stand side by side with the rest of the series. Its the red headed step child of the real title, and should be beaten and stuffed back into the closet it came out of. I know the story will be great, and as such, it deserves a great title...but, sorry folks, this just ain't it!
Again, this is just my opinion.
KRW Wrote:That was the challange in the first place. To name the book with only subtle hints to it's contents. So without reading the book, you won't venture a guess for the title. But you'll criticize the title that was picked without reading it either.
