Last night, I saw Darkness Falls. It was chilly, and sometimes I jumped up from sofa. :eek:

I heard about Tooth fairy story. A baby tooth came out, and put it under pillow, then Tooth fairy snatch it and put one coin. In case of Japan, If downside tooth came out, then throw it to roof, and if upside tooth came out, drop it to under the eaves.

My dad kept all of my baby teeth in a little plastic bag. When I was growing up I had a LARGE Doberman/Weimaraner mix (dog). When he lost his baby teeth my dad put his teeth in the same bag as mine. If I show someone my bag of baby teeth it can be pretty funny at times.

I don't watch a lot of horror movies - which is funny when you see that my bookshelves are swarming with horror novels (as well as Doc Savage reprints) - but there's one moment from a movie that I still have nightmares about. There was a mini-series made of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot" back in the 70's or early 80's and there's a scene with a little boy vampire floating outside one of his friend's windows begging to be let in. It still creeps me out. I've got goosebumps just writing this.

I'm curious to see how they handle that scene in the new TNT mini-series. I saw that they're using a clip from it in the previews. Didn't scare me that much, but it is out of context. We'll see.

Oh,yes! When I was nine years old, friends and I went to see ALIEN at theater. The last scene, I was jump up from chair. :eek:

Now not scary anymore, I thought. But a few weeks ago, I bought "25th anniversary ALIEN QUADRILOGY ultimate collection". Then, I saw ALIEN....once again I jump up from sofa! But it's due to sound effect. :p

By the way, my scariest monster is .......well, I think human is very scary. Anny Wilks in Misery, Hannibal in The Silence of the Lamb, etc...

Oh yes, and my favourite horror films are DAWN OF THE DEAD, DAY OF THE DEAD, TALES FROM THE CRYPT (1972), RINGU, UZUMAKI, and many more...

Audition by Takashi Miike is one of my favorite recent horror films. If you haven't seen it you have to check it out. It seriously isn't for the faint of heart though, it's really really brutal. I have never been filled with such dread, shit no movie ever has made me feel like that. I'm not gonna say anything else except the fact that it is a love story ... lol

Jacob's Ladder was too fast-cutting for me, and I was expecting an ending to othe film that I'd read about, (that they didn't film!) so I was let down by the end. There was a storyboard where he got carried away by angels!
The film's that have seriously scared me recently were Ju-on, Ring 2 and Uzumaki (and especially the Uzumaki manga!).

Two other movies by the director you might want to check out (though they aren't horror): Ichi the Killer (thanks to Dave for pointing this one out to me... yikes!) and The Isle. You will never look at fishhooks the same way again.

Tokorozawa is very big city. Around the station is very crowded place, but if you walk away from station, almost nature. River, field, and lake(name is Tama Lake)....very beautiful place. Perhaps you will like the place.

AUDITION has got to be Takashi Miike's best film for me, and out in front for best Japanese horror/shocker. His other stuff looks too low budget - it's too distractingly cheap - and I've seen some cheap movies!
