Thanks for the greeting, Jake. Seems like a great place to be.

Yes, indeed. You know why?

This board is international. America(of course!), England, Australia, one young Chinese girl, and one (not young)Japanese. Big Grin

I have ever visited a lot of boards, but this board is best!

Defensive Avionics...If it keeps you from being shot, that was mine. Chaff, flares, jamming, mode 4, all that cool stuff. I assumed they had that stuff on every military plane, but maybe just on bombers and fighters?

We have all those on my plane. I guess I haven't heard the mnx guys called themselves that....usually they just say they are "avionics". Are you still in a related civillian field?

One of my regular co-pilot's husband is from Scotland. I can't remember the town he is from, but he says it is fairly small. We also have a small exchange program for pilots with Scotland. I haven't flown with either of the two we have though.

I forget that every shop in every squadron calls themselves something different. Nowadays I work at Lowes, of all places. I bounced around a lot when I got out, and I ended up there. Retail sucks most of the time, but it pays the bills and lets my wife stay home with our son. Working on B-1s made me feel like sisyphus. I suppose if I'd been flying them I'd still be doing it too.

B-1s at Dyess?? If so, then I feel for you! Big Grin
