Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

On the subject of Abe, I know that he's supposed to be overweight, but I never envisioned him being quite as large as Robbie Coltrane or Mike McShane. I could be wrong though. My favorite for Abe has always been Judd Hirsch. And although Ben Kingsley is a fine actor, I don't think that Abe should be played by the same person who played Ghandi. Sort of a contradiction in terms there. Wink

Why not? Gandhi believed everyone should live in peace; Abe believes everyone should die in pieces.

Oh, I don't know, Gandhi did once say something to the effect that the greatest crime the British inflicted on the people of India was to disarm them.

Without weapons, the only thing they had left was peaceful disobedience.

Ehhh, I hate to talk bad about Kutcher, but I totally agree. He can't carry this part. In Butterfly Effect the reviews totally blew him apart. Claimed his acting was terrible. I think it wasn't the best acting I have ever seen, but it was descent. The movie was good, but Ashton has this thing where he smiles, but doesn't mean to. Like in serious parts, problem is this is just not natural, and makes his acting look terrible.

Don't get me wrong he has had some good roles in past, including his sitcom series, but RJ?? I really, truely hope not!!

I cannot believe anyone would consider Ashton Kutcher for the role of
Repairman Jack. Jason Biggs??? Topher Grace??? Colin Hanks??? Give me a break!!!
As far as I can see there is no mid-twenties actor that fits the role of
Repairman Jack.
Why not just have that guy who plays Fez on "That 70's Show"? (I'm
kidding).
In the words of Hank Hill: "Why not just go all the way and give me a cat
and a sex change operation!"

Why not have Trey Parker and Matt Stone do the film, but with puppets and
plenty of explsions. (Heh, heh, heh). You'd probably have Abe (like Kim il Jong) sounding suspiciously a lot like Cartman.

Seriously, though, it's a shame that the actor's age rules out Edward Norton, Kiefer Sutherland, Matt Damon, or others who could probably carry off the
role. At least FPW said it wasn't Frankie Muniz!.

Oh!!! I've just had another horrifying thought! Maybe Satan himself is
running this film and will cast McCaulley Culkin (Home Alone) in the role
of Repairman Jack. If that happens I can't see Glaeken ever being able
to defeat Rasalom. The "otherness" would bcome too strong to be defeated.
