Guess which movie these lines are from. (Not difficult.)

"Good heavens, he's killed her!"

"No sir, they want to get married!"

"MARRIED!? GOODY-TWO-SHOES AND THE FILTHY BEAST!?!"

The shower scene in Psycho. Movie still holds up as a good thriller.

The opening of "The Night of the Living Dead"

Can't remember the female characters name but I beleive it was Carol.

"Their coming to get you Carol......"

Also the closing scene when the hero having survived the whole nightmare at the house emerges from the basement and gets a big surprise. Classic gut punch ending.

The Sons of Katy Elder: The scene near the beginning where George Kennedy is holding the wheelwright's head underwater in a rain barrel...John Wayne happens by......starts toward them...picks up a wagon wheel spoke along the way...says Hey!"...Kennedy looks up just in time to catch a two-handed swing in the face and goes down for the count.

Simple. Elegant. Effective. Final.

What are you, a mind reaader too? That was the scene I had picked out to post when I started reading this post. I just wasn't sure it was in the 60's.
I also had just watched that movie last night and every time I watch that scene it makes my teeth hurt for about three days!

The Guns of Navarone. The best dialogue in this movie.

Miller:Oh,I'm not anxious to kill her. I'm not anxious to kill anyone. See, I'm not a born soldier. I got trapped. You may find facetious from time to time, but if I didn't make some rather bad jokes every now and then, I'd go out my mind. No, I prefer to leave the killing to someone like you, an officer and a gentleman, a leader of men, a hero.
