They are using superglue externally in the ER quite a bit now, although I am sure it costs about 10 times as much because it is for human use. For a time it was used internally as well, to glue shut things like venous malformations and aneurysms but that has all but discontinued due to complications. The complications were technical in nature (glue going where it wasn't supposed to) rather than any problem or reaction to the substance itself.

I used to instal carpet a long time ago. This occupation is great if you like Razor Blade Slices in your fingers. Being a guitarist I learned that Super Glue is a miracle cure for closing cuts. Burns though. I still cary it around with me in my guitar gear tool box. You just never know when you will need it. I used some about a month ago.

In Colorado, the major chain I remember was Rexall (Rx-all), and in Califnordia, the one major chain that comes to mind is Sav-On. I have a shooting friend who is a pharmacist at Sav-On.
A small local sorta-chain is Gemmel's Pharmacy. These fine folks gave me a nice discount on Kaye's meds, as Kaye used to be a RN. Saved me about 25%, which amounted to $200 dollars a month.
