Does anyone have any thoughts on or knowledge of the serious unavailability of the more recent Repairman Jack novels in paperback?

I'm trying to fill out a few gaps in my personal collection and was missing Fatal Error, Ground Zero and The Dark at the End. I got lucky and was able to find two of them in local stores and online. However, I was only able to buy a terrible used thrift store copy of Fatal Error. Looking online these only appear to be available from speculators at complete rip-off prices. There was a copy of Dark at the End for over a hundred dollars and any new copy of mass market Fatal Error is at 30 or much more. Older novels in the same series are still commonly available at cover price.

Maybe FPW or someone else knows if there is another print run planned so myself and other huge fans can obtain them? Hopefully with the current cover art.

I own three copies of the original Tomb just so I can lend them out or give them to any prospective reader to get them hooked on one of my favorite authors of all time.

All three are available through Amazon for less than $10 each.

You may want to check again.
Fatal Error mass market paperback is 19.97 plus shipping, private seller
Dark at the End mass market paperback is 49.43 plus shipping, private seller
I am talking about new books here. I take excellent care of my books and even once I've read them they still look new.
I also prefer to deal with Amazon Only if at all possible.
These are both books that are $7.99 cover price and no reputable seller or books store has access to them. The only people selling are at a ridiculous markup.

Thanks

unfortunately, the standard-size mass market paperback has become unprofitable. Big chains like B&N don't want them and so publishers are letting them go out of print.

Thank you very much for the info and for answering personally. That's really suprising but I guess I have seen a lot more trade size books on the shelves in the past few years. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and pay the extra somewhere.
I have to have that full 15 book Repairman Jack set on my shelf Smile
