I have a question, since I've never bought a signed/numbered copy of anything until now, but the copy I have says #446 of 400. How is that possible? Or do I have a bogus signature?

If you bought it straight from Gauntlet, then it's gotta be legit. I also would find it hard to believe that anyone would bother forging a copy of it. The edition is supposed to be limited to 400 copies. Maybe someone had a brain fart when they were numbering the pages? If possible, post a picture of it for us to take a look.

You could also contact Gauntlet directly. They might have an idea of what's going on.

I contacted Barry Hoffman who runs Gauntlet. He says they're numbered at the printer and this must be an error.

"You can tell the customer to send the book back to me and I'll replace it with a new copy. I'll destroy the improperly numbered copy."
