1990 was a banner year for grindhouse films -- dozens of them, big budget and low budget. Jack didn't know many people in NYC back then, so I bet he'd go see all of these. Here are trailers for the first few:

COLD CITY films no. 1 – Jack was disappointed that this one didn't live up to the original: http://tinyurl.com/bazfeer

COLD CITY films no. 2 – No way he'd miss this: http://tinyurl.com/ctjjxdh

COLD CITY films no. 3 – Jack digs Dolph flicks. Great tag line on this one (almost seems like the script was written for that one line at the end): http://tinyurl.com/b6cudqb

COLD CITY films #4 – Young Jack would have seen this for Harley Jane Kozak as well as the spiders: http://tinyurl.com/b6o95pt

COLD CITY films #5 – you gotta believe Jack would like Steven Seagal flicks back in 1990: http://tinyurl.com/aubj4fk

COLD CITY films #8 – you know Jack would be a Coens fan after “Blood Simple.” They topped that with this: http://tinyurl.com/bxvg775

COLD CITY films #9 – you KNOW Jack would dig this one back in the day http://tinyurl.com/agngaek

COLD CITY films no. 12 – not as good as the original but Jack would have checked it out in 1990 http://tinyurl.com/ak3hjjl

COLD CITY films no. 13 – back in 1990 Jack wondered how a film with such high-powered talent could turn out so… lame http://tinyurl.com/csy7b2g

COLD CITY films no. ZERO – as much as he liked “Roadhouse,” Jack skipped the #1 grossing film of 1990 http://tinyurl.com/bfaaspa

COLD CITY films no. 16 – “Consider that a divorce” was the best line from 1990’s #5 top grosser: http://tinyurl.com/bcng92k

I've got some suggestions, but I wouldn't want to spoil things by beating you to them.

For some reason I always though full movies weren't allowed on youtube.

Great list, I'm thinking this one needs to be added

1990 was also a strange year for sequels. While most of the time sequels have a 2-3 year turnaround, 1990 really dusted off some older titles. After a 13 year wait we were given Exorcist III, After 16 years The Godfather Part III and the Two Jakes, and after 19 years Texasville.
