I thought the new Total Recall was far better than the original. Granted, it's not as cheesy and there are no freaky mutants (I can't help but think of the 3-breasted woman who made a brief cameo as more taking part in the advanced cosmetic surgery that was obviously present in society) or psychic powers, but that didn't bother me. I also liked some of the details they added to it showing they could think just a little outside the box. Granted, the original was before my time (I was 7 when it came out) so there's no nostalgia factor to make me curse the new for "messing with my youth."
Besides, how can I not like a movie where Biel, Farrel, and Beckinsale get so much screen time?
And I saw the preview for Red Dawn. Movies like that don't interest me much but I'm betting my girl will be wanting to see it since Josh Hutcherson is in it (so I might get pulled into seeing it myself).
