I think we can agree that Satan is the christian interpretation of Rasalom

So not unseasonable that Jesus is in some way based on Glaeken. The Jesus myth is I'm many ways the same death & rebirth myth in many eastern religion.

Maybe Glaeken was badly injured (to the point of death for a mortal) but healed to return.

This could be the well spring for many ancient religions with a death & rebirth myth

So I think yes he could be the source of the whole death / rebirth myth

I think anyone intrigued by this would like the book series "Casca, The Eternal Mercenary". The early books by Barry Saddler are the best. He even had his heart ripped out in ancient America by the Aztecs. How cool! He should have died so many times, but he's not allowed to.

Sounds good. Will have to remember to check it out sometime. Thanks, Ken
