I just finished Bloodline, and I've been through all the previous RJ books. I've got By the Sword, Ground Zero and Fatal Error sitting here waiting, and I plan on buying The Dark at the End when it comes out. I plan to read the Adversary Cycle books, and I see that The Touch and Reprisal fall between Ground Zero and Fatal Error on the timeline. Will it make much difference if I skip these two AC books and finish the last two books in the RJ series before I start into the Adversary Cycle?
I ask because I've been having a harder time putting these things down as I continue through the series, and as I complete each one I'm looking forward the next. I would just as soon finish Jack's story (at least everything preceding Night World) before I backtrack to the Keep and start that series from the beginning, but I don't want to skip over something that is important. Since I started all this with the RJ series I will probably wait until the final Night World version comes out to read that.
I have to say that I've never been one to read a lot of fiction, but I stumbled into FPW a few years ago and I really enjoy his work. IIRC I saw some mention of the LaNague books in a blog thread (probably Reason because I'm there every day). I found a used copy of The LaNague Chronicles and loved all three of the books contained therein, and that led me to RJ. Thanks for hours of entertainment, Mr. Wilson.
