Almost finished with TDATE and I see that a couple of more beers got mentions including Grolsch-a favorite of mine, but I thought it should have been a pop top(although I can't remember the last time I saw one).

L. Paul Wynn! Why didn't you introduce yourself at Paul's visitation?

I didn't think anyone would know who I was. I was just happy that Dr. Wilson remembered our communication and my website. I haven't had very many comments on my web page and thought it wasn't well received. I originally put it together for my son and I to discuss aspects of the Otherness and I got sort of carried away.

Trust me...if you introduce yourself, we'll all remember you (grin)!

I was the one who asked about the LaNague Federation.

Grolsch is a great beer and I've only ever seen them with the pop tops (at least that's how they still are in Germany). How was it mentioned in TDATE?

Jack knows that German beer is better

German bier has the reputation as the world's finest, but this lager-hound will take a Sam Adams any day.

I'm not sure if you know who Ernst Drexler is, but Jack helped himself to a Grolsch out of his fridge while waiting for him at his apartment and while there was no mention of what kind of bottle he wasdrinking out of, I think FPW would have specified if it were a pop top.

On the subject of beer, I had another Young's Double Chocolate Stout last night and I must say it is either the best beer I've had or damn close.
