What is it and is it fun to play?

I've never played it but gamers tell me it's pretty good. It's a license from Paramount and Bill Warren created quite a backstory for Glaeken and Rasalom - not in line with mine, but well done. Mayfair wanted to renew the license but Paramount wanted a fee that would make profit impossible.

I'm assuming it's some kind of game played with rules and pieces of cardboard and the use of imagination. I was going to leave it shrinkwrapped, but the guy who runs The Keep movie fan page (sorry, can't remember his name) asked me to scan a couple pieces he was missing from his version and so I obliged. Otherwise, it sits on my shelf that has a big sign that says "Keep thine eyes averted, lest the trails of your vision sully the pristine nature of this collection".

I can neither confirm or deny this. Although I'm sure Paul might. Smile

It seems as though we are discussing two different games on this thread; a board game and a video game.

I've got the board game and the RPG module. Got the game on clearance years ago, and the RPG off ebay. I forget how much I paid. But, if anyone's interested, maybe I could let them have a "look" at the RPG stuff.

I heard a rumor that it's possible to read a scan of the RPG book online, but I'm sure this link has nothing to do with it: http://www.scribd.com/doc/45102798/Mayfa...4-The-Keep

Wow, what a blast from my past. I use to work at a hobby/game shop back in highschool. We had a few copies of this game sitting on the shelf. If I remember right, they may have been supporting the above shelf! (No offense, FPW).

Boy, had I only know years latter what they would be worth. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda.......
