You can just get the kindle app free for your PC, Mac, smart phone, iPhone, iPad, etc and read away.

Yeah, I have it on my netbook, but I don't use the app much. As small as the netbook is, it's still unwieldy to hold while reading in bed, which is where I get most of my fiction reading done.

Oooh, 99 cents is a steal. I paid a whopping $2.99 for my Kindle version, which, I must say, was a steal at that price. Big Grin I love Dydeetown World.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Isn't it funny how the $2.99 price point has conditioned us (well at least me) to think that should be the norm?

Whenever I see something for my Kindle that is above that price I always think, "No way, they must be insane, I am not paying that much for a book!" When not 6-8 months ago I was still paying $8+ for paperbacks.Big Grin

So .99 cents is an outstanding price!

honestly, I prefer paperback, and I would not pay paperback price for a digital copy. I really won't buy anything over $2.99 cause if I don't really like it I can't trade or sell it, and when the kindle finally craps out one day it's gone. I like that FPW is selling these out of print titles cheap. Jack Ketchum is another author I like that is selling his out-of-print books cheap. It's cool cause you can't buy a new copy of the book. It doesn't exist.

Not so. Amazon archives them. Buy another Kindle or add the app to your computer and there they are.
