Yes, they are there for as long as, well, as long as Amazon remains in business I guess. I've archived about 60 books that I've finished. It makes keeping my Kindle index a little neater.
I live in a tiny space, and my husband and I are great readers. We just don't have room for books. Our Kindles have been a godsend.
So, Paul, consider the place of honor you hold in my home. I gave away all my other books when I did a massive purge a while back, but not my FPW books. Even though I have duplicates, I didn't give up a one.
I have used the loan function on my Kindle, too. However, I am always mindful of royalties and what they mean to an author. So whenever I can, if I like the author, I'll buy the book.
