The picture below is the cul-de-sac under the East 77th Street overpass on the FDR Drive in Manhattan. It is the place where a certain nemesis of Jack left his heart, so to speak. As I passed by on my walks by the East River, I always thought of FPW chosing that particular spot to place that particular heart-stopping event.
Well, that little nook under the bridge on the right side of the picture is no more. The bridge is closed for repairs and they've already taken apart that area.
Time marches on, even for fictional characters.
