I had gone with "Brown" before I heard "Nelson" which are both good, and common. "Brown" is the most common name in the English speaking world, more than "Smith" or "Jones". Strange how those things work out, huh?

I was curious if Dr. F. Paul Wilson knows anything about the "Nelson" last name, and the Rakoshi having wings? Is this official? (I HATE using the word "Cannon" like all those trekkies use, GEEEEEZZZZ)

The "Nelson" name is canonical to the extent that, near the beginning of THE TOMB, when Jack and Kusum meet at Julio's, Jack introduces himself as "Jack Nelson." He also uses the last name "Jeffers" in the book.

The wings are another issue...
