Just wondering if anyone has seen that they are making this into a movie.
And from what i can tell she (Meyer) got the idea from Wilsons "Hosts"
No i didn't read her book. I don't want to have to take my brain out and soak it in hot soapy water again. The synopsis sounds very close to "Hosts"
Anyway would this be grounds for plagiarism?
Just curious.

I read The Host. If I remember correctly....they were parasitic aliens....more along the line of the leeches of Brian Lumley's vampires.

And welcome to the board!

I don't think it sounds like "Hosts" all that much. Perhaps a mix of "Hosts" and "Healer".

Eh, who knows.

You can't copyright an idea.

Paul said it true.

You can copyright =arrangements= of words. But not the concept that generated them.
