Awesome!

Now you have me wanting to read the series. In what order should I pick the books up?

The order of the first 4 books is:

A Game of Thrones
A Clash of Kings
A Storm of Swords
A Feast of Crows

The fifth book "A Dance with Dragons" is supposed to be released July 12th but I will believe that when it happens. It has been a long time in coming.

You won't be sorry if you decide to read this series. The first 3 books are top notch and the 4th is more of a bridge book so it doesn't carry the pop of the others, hopefull Dance will get the the series smashing again.

Thank you.

You won't regret it. These books are brilliant. And yes, the twists that GRRM puts in are quite jaw-dropping. I can't wait for the series to get to some of those parts.

Buuu--- buuu--- BUMP!

Last night was a good episode. My sister was thinking the confrontation between Cat and Tyrion was epic. I told her it was just the tip of the ice giant. Big Grin

I only caught the last 1/2 last night on HBO-HD... so I just caught up watching it again on HBO on demand. Really good episode, and the Imp just keeps getting better and better. Brilliant character.

Anyone know of a good site online to watch these for free? I don't subscribe to HBO so I can't watch the HBO Go streaming thing either.

I got to see the first two, started rereading the books and now have a desire to see the rest of this series.

I love this show... and am now reading the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire (hat-tip The Mad American, I've got the lot now). The show is surprisingly close to the book, and so far the only real changes seem to be cosmetic (The Imp's eyes, Arya's face, etc).

My wife looked at the Japanese versions and each book is chopped into either 3 or 5 small books! So annoying.

I am in the process of re-reading this series. I am almost done with the 3rd book and will start the 4th when I am done, hopefully finishing by the time the 5th book is published.

Hope you enjoy them Anemone. I actually got my wife to read them as well, she is currently almost done with the second book and keeps picking at me for spoilers. I have so far resisted, but it isn't easy when I want to talk discuss what happens to characters I either like or loathe.

I downloaded the first one, but it is a long queue of books I have to read. Really enjoying the series tho'
