I love my collection of these books and all, but is this guy's price crazy out-of-this-world?

People pay far more than that for Stephen King sets. What are you trying to say about FPW? He isn't worth it?

Oh, Sourdoughs, you'd be amazed. My place of woik, B&N, has online used-book selling associates. A bio of Sandy Denny (who wrote the mighty WHO KNOWS WHERE THE TIME GOES) was on sale from one of our little pals. The asking price? Over $2000.

I used to stock it, when it was in print! $19.95!:dontknow:

Big Grin I love my collection, BUT I'm not sure where that line is between having my collection and having $5000 and re-collecting it over time

$5k is a tidy chunk towards kid's college.

For 5 grand, I'd sell my Gauntlet RJs and throw in a bunch of extras! I can buy 3 Jeep J10's for $2500 (on Craigslist), and still replace the books I sold, 1 at a time.

We've all got our price, t4. But I like to think I'd hold out for more than 5.

I'd want at least 6.

I think it's Paul. Times be tough and we never have seen a picture of his ego shelf.

When they pulled his Tor/Forge titles from Amazon, he got worried. Listing items on Ebay was his desperate measure.

Would the same titles be worth more if collectors knew they were off FPW's own shelf?

Not if somebody is willing to pay that much, and there's only one way to find out.
