A monumental editing job, but I'd buy it in a second.

I agree with that.....the numbers on the plane....on the hatch's code...just about everything...was due to Jacob.

I like Hurley in the post LAX time line. There he's sure of himself and a success.

Who else thought the darker Locke was going to throw Sawyer off that cliff?

I thought exactly that! I'm really liking the different perspective on Jacob, or at least what we have heard so far. What is the island being protected from? I am almost thinking that Jacob is the man of faith like locke and he always believed that the island needed protected and MIB was weak and after so long of nothing to protect it from got tired and wanted off the island.

I really don't know but I'm loving the final season so far.

Ben as teacher??? Whoa! Big Grin

Any guesses who the boy is that caused new Locke to react as he did in the jungle? I'm thinking it's Aaron.

I was thinking that as well. Was also thinking somewhat that it was some sort of representation for the island. MIB was pretty surprised Sawyer could see the kid also. The part that made me think it was the island was how he said Locke broke the rules and couldn't kill him(Jacob).

It's always important it seems...how something is expressed on the island. Evil Locke needs a form to represent into. In fact he's locked...snicker...into this form....because he broke the rules. The boy in the jungle caused evil Locke quite a start...he recognized him. I say the boy is young Jacob's form...sent by the island.
I think Sawyer can see the boy because he hasn't joined those at the temple again. A good old fashion...good vs evil showdown is coming along....cool. Cool

That's what I thought.

I think that somehow, little Aaron is gonna get back on the Island.

Do you remember when Mr. Eko asked Claire why she named him Aaron, and did she know who Aaron was? Mr. Eko tells Claire that Aaron was the brother of Moses. Moses was a stutterer, apparently, or had trouble speaking publicly, and often Aaron spoke for him.

Now, you know they never put anything in this series that isn't a clue (except for that whole silly Nikki/Pablo/poison spider episode). Somehow, Aaron is going to be a voice for the Island. I'm not sure how, but this could mean we have Aaron for years to come, should they ever want to bring the show back with grown up versions of Sun's daughter and Aaron and even Walt.

4 - Locke
8 -Hugo
15 - Saywer
16 - Sayid
23 - Jack
42 - Kwon, either Jin or Sun

Soooo....where does that leave Kate and Claire? Did they come to the Island to play their parts as mothers of Aaron? Hmm.....

More random thoughts....

Ben has been pivotal to the plans of the Man in Black/Smoke Monster. Ben killed Locke (though it could be argued that Locke was heading in that direction anyway) and Ben killed Jacob. Without those two deaths, Old Smokie wouldn't be able to do what he's doing, whatever that is.

So what else is in store for Ben? Major redemption? I wonder.....
