In the Hollywood area, it is common to find Consideration DVDs in second-hand stores. Over the weekend, what with kitty-adopting and all, I just happened to be in the neighborhood for thrift store shopping by Canter's Deli, a landmark restaurant (I saw Richard Moll and spoke to him a bit). I bought some Consideration DVDs, including an FX DVD box (finale of The Shield, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, etc.), an HBO box (Will Ferrell as W, Big Love, True Blood, etc.), and an ABC box (Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, some other stuff, and the first two episodes of LOST, Final Season).
Believe it or not, I watched the finale of The Shield first; great three-hour finish. The deterioration of Macky's crew from season one is a wonder to behold. Then I watched LOST. Great thing about these DVDs: no commercials, just a blank pause before the program resumes.
I, too, have watched LOST since the beginning and have attended a few conventions. But the theories that fanatics have are far better than what takes place in the first few episodes. I am not disappointed as I'm sure the storyline will pick up. But there are some answers already to some of the questions that have been raised since the first season.
I won't be the one to ruin anything. Nor will I play the "getting warmer" game. I hate spoilers as much as the next guy.

P.S. I might risk putting this DVD set on ebay. After the series starts, the set will be worthless. Nahhh. Too risky.
