KLINGON: (Adopting broad accent): You're right...I didn't mean to say the ENTERPRISE should be hauling garbage...I meant to say it should be hauled away =as= garbage
(AND FOLLOWS A VERY STAGED FIGHT SCENE)

Keep in mind I also consider cheese cake and hot fudge sundays to be junk food. Wink

That is, it's no bad thing. Cool

Mercy, Dervish! Are yez tellin' me then, THE CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER was "junk food"? Or THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER? Or AMOK TIME? Or THE ENTERPRISE INCIDENT? Or SHORE LEAVE?

I just got back from seeing it a second time and it still held up. The jerky-cam was a little annoying, but screw it, I was way too involved in the characters, the acting and the dialogue to pay it much attention. Not to mention being riveted by the green loveliness of Rachel Nichols. Woman be fiiiine, lemme tell you.

Dervish Wrote:There was once this awesome fic, IMO, of Q bringing the Enterprise and the Borg into the Star Wars universe, but it was never finished that I know of and I haven't been able to find it again.

That reminded me of a couple of fan-made CGI clips that I came across on YouTube.

I'd like to nominate Simon Pegg (as Scotty) and Ryan Reynolds (as Wade Wilson) as the two most underused movie characters this year.

I saw it this afternoon and enjoyed it (as did my two sons, who never saw any pf the originals). I watched the original series first run as a kid, but never saw any of the spin-off series, so was interested to see how many references they worked in to different iterations in the Trivia list on imdb.com (TRIVIA LIST CONTAINS SPOILERS):

We just came back from seeing this. I loved it! They nailed all the characters perfect! But, yes, "Scotty" was great! I hope they make another movie!
