Don't forget, Aaron wasn't 'on' the original flight so this leads me to think that maybe AlvinFox has it right with Kate being pregnant.
What I really don't get though is the need to recreate the original flight at all, given that there are far more things that
haven't been recreated than have. I mean, is it really necessary to mirror Kate and her marshall by having Sayid with a marshall? It just seems a bit unnecessary.
That said, one thing I do think is important is a dead Locke being there instead of a dead Christian. We've learnt now that Christian is mucho important so does that mean that his arrival on 815 was as important as Locke's arrival on 316? I think definitely. And I can well believe that Dead Christian's arrival was engineered in much the same way that Dead Locke's was.
And I bet there was another 'dead arrival' before him. Jacob, anyone? Maybe Ben's been keeping him prisoner all this time (remember the ash?) because he's narked about not being as important as he'd like to be.
