You are the MAN! I love ya! Thanks for this! Love the new short story collection, BTW. Oh, and thanks for re-releasing Oz - I've been looking for this for a long time, and as soon as the dissertation mini-orals are done, I'm so reading it.

I had always wondered about the backstory.

I'm still not up to date as I've only discovered the books and working my way around the website - some things are a bit confusing but I'm sure I'll make my way, however can someone explain to me if there will be more of "Demonsong"? Will it be released as a novel?

Thanks in advance.

For over a decade now, FPW has discussed the possibility of a sort-of-Robert-Jordan-esque series of novels that would incorporate and greatly expand on the First Age and specifically, "Demonsong."

He has mentioned that it could be a possible project, post-Jack (which will be about 2012).

So, assuming that the world doesn't end in December 2012, we should all get to be entertained by Glaeken and Co. throughout the next decade.

Axioms Jack seems to live by (inadvertantly or not):

Why he does what he does: "I chose this life. I know what I'm doing. And on any given day, I could stop doing it. Today, however, isn't that day. And tomorrow won't be either." Bruce Wayne, Identity Crisis

On Rasalom: "Water's wet, the sky is blue...and good old Satan Claus, Jimmy...he's out there...and he's just gettin' stronger." Joe Hallenbeck, The Last Boyscout

Stop being cruel to the new folks. Deni and atomsk, he's pulling your leg; no such plans exist. Welcome to the fray anyways.

Well I could have sworn that you said it wasn't a reality, but you're probably a better source of info than me on such matters. Apologies to Wap and re-whet those appetites I inadvertantly doused.
