Scott Miller Wrote:Man how did you guys manage to survive the weeks between shows? I watched the entire first two seasons each in less than a week-this dragging it out over the course of 12 weeks mkight be more than I can bear-or is it bare?
Season 2 in particular was really hard to survive between episodes. I'm actually kind of having fun this season though, because I have Dexter and True Blood back to back - kind of delicious anticipation for Sunday nights!
Scott Miller Wrote:Anyway I think Dexter will make an excellent father, don't you? What about Deb's new look and who will she hook up with this season? Will another Doakes show up to haunt Dex or will he be free of his co-workers scrutiny? Or will Jimmy Smits, or his brother, character take his place. All in all, I'd say it was the weakest of the 3 season openers(his kill was positively amateurish) but I have faith that it will pick up.
The crazy thing is... I actually DO think Dexter would be a good father. He really does love kids, and I've always thought that Dexter actually feels a LOT more than he's willing to admit. But because he thinks he's faking all of his emotions (which I don't believe he is, honestly), he's spent a lot of time studying people, so he's gotten VERY good at handling people and situations. That sounds nuts even as I'm typing it, and it's so hard to put into words. :p
Love Deb's haircut. And I'm not really sure where they're going with Jimmy Smits.
But my heart almost stopped when I realized he was at Teegan's house poking around while Dexter was... ahem, poking Freebo.
