I couldn't see anywhere for new members to your site to say hi, so i hope nobody minds me creating this little thread.

I'm a new member myself been reading FPW books for as long as i can remember. My first being "The Keep", closely followed by "Foundation" i find it genuinely very difficult to find Mr Wilson's book as they are not in print in England but making it all the sweeter when i do find one to read.

I'm 39 years old so i'm about the same age as Repairman Jack himself also my youngest son is called Jack so you could call me a fan, hope everybody comes to say hi :-))Big Grin

Cheers
Bernard

Welcome aboard

40 year old Brit in Leeds here - who also started with the Keep

The internet has become my invaluable tool for collecting FPW - I think I now have a full set of the man's books. Mainly used e-bay, but also Barnes and Noble

For rare stuff I can recommend Mary's Cabin on e-bay.

Cheers

Dave

I knew before I even looked at your location that you were from across the pond. The Foundation is called The Select here in the states. Welcome to the board! As long as you aren't Chinese, people here should like you. Wink

Welcome Bernard. I was 39 once upon a time.

You really only need three things: WD-40, Duct Tape, and a pointy stick. If it's supposed to move and doesn't, use the WD-40. If it moves and isn't supposed to, use the Duct Tape. If you want it to move and it doesn't want to, use the pointy stick. The rest of life is easy.

Welcome!

Did you try Amazon UK for your missing books? Normally they have the new publications (but you better be fast) and they also propose used books, generally from the US. The postage for Europe costs €2.99, which must be about £2.

Trying to be nice

Hi there. I am another new member. Thanks for giving me a place to start off in. I'm 40 and got started with the Keep movie (yes I know it is nothing great but I found a copy on DVD and plan to watch it this weekned). I don't know how old your son is but get him a copy of Secret Histories (my 11 year old loved it). I figure start them off young.
